It's horrible grey area that one, because Endo should be able to stand his ground and he didnt put his arms around him or anything. He played it perfectly. it's just the fact that he started in an offside position thats swung the refs view

But it was given as offside, not a foul. And it's incredibly rare for players to get called offside in that kind of situation. Loads of teams stand players on the keeper from free kicks to block his eyeline, and they're barely ever called off
