Carabao Cup Final Liverpool v Newcastle ** Spoilers ** [16th March 2025 @16:30]

Robbo gets done so often like that from crosses to the back post. It's like he never even tries to jump

Fair play to Newcastle, they were up for the occasion, Liverpool just seem like they were up all night

Difficult to be too critical given how the season has gone as a whole but some questionable decisions this last week from Slot. We won this very match last season because Klopp was willing to trust kids when senior players were out on their feet however both vs PSG and today Slot's not been willing to trust senior players when it's clear his favoured 13-14 have been shattered. You can't go into games like these last two running on fumes and expect to win and we have done just that and paid the price both times.

Chuck on the inexperienced youngsters on and get the Liverpool vitals for lifting the PL title off, Toon army have this and congrats to them.

Yes its been really strange why the midfield hasn't been rotated more. Endo and others are perfectly fine for games against Saints etc. People say, well we needed the 1st 11 to beat them, well yes but half of them were cooked.

Holy Fergie time, Batman!

I'd love to see a turnaround like the '99(?) Bayern-Utd euro final, but no chance today, even with 8mins added on.
