Carabao Cup Final Man Utd v Newcastle ** Spoilers ** [26th February 2023]

Can someone explain the first goal to me? It looked like there were at least two ManU players offside. Maybe not Casemiro, but some definite red legs goal-side of the defensive line.

Like, is that allowed now? You can hardly say they weren’t interfering with play…

These footballers, Casemiro holding his face after being pulled down by his shoulder.

All of them are a bunch of babies, games gone soft as baby poo

That has been allowed for like a decade.

He's a striker that doesn't score and other than today doesn't assist. He's rubbish and I do find it quite amusing how some United fans defend him.
I think he's useful (I'm a Liverpool fan). He's good at occupying defenders, getting the ball, giving the ball, and I don't think it's a coincidence that all of Fernandes, Rashford, Sancho and Antony have improved since he joined the club.

I don't think he's good enough for United long term, but as a cheap short term option he's doing his job fine.

Not sure how we got to half time 2-0 up. It was far from our best but Newcastle haven't been scoring a lot of goals so it looks like they have it all to do. We were losing the midfield battle for the first 25 minutes and then we get the goal which changes everything. Not getting carried away yet.
