Carabao Cup - Quarter Finals ** Spoilers ** [22nd - 23rd Dec 2020]

It was naughty but they both were grabbing each other. I assume it's some leftovers from an international meeting. He's lucky there was no VAR though.

Not sure what the issue with the Bruno challenge was, just an unfortunate collision with Bailly.

Tbf was a bit unlucky Bailly is there

No mention of Cavani squeezing someone’s throat is a bit odd though, I thought manu fans thought that sort of behaviour needed deported from the league

I didn't see it at the time but no, I honestly don't give too many ***** about that sort of thing. I think it pathetic that you can do the sort of thing that Kane does on the regular that could seriously injure someone in so many ways and get nothing for it and as soon as you square up to someone or touch them above the chest its a straight red in most cases. Utterly retarded rule. If VAR was being used he might have got sent off. Martial got sent off earlier in the season for doing something similar and Lemela acting like he had been mortally wounded.

Thats the sort of crap I wan't deported from the league. Cheating. Going down under the slightest breeze from a defender to win a penalty. Acting like you will never walk again when someone brushes your face. Trying to get players booked constantly.

Bruno pushed Richy into Bailly from what I could see.

Not from what I see, they were shoulder to shoulder which is perfectly fine. It's just an accidental collision with three players going for a ball. It happens sometimes, don't like him but hope he's alright.

And yeah joking about injuries is kind of trashy.

Maybe I'm strange but joking about a player being seriously injured isn't something I find funny. Lets try to keep those sorts of jokes out of here.

Looking forward to the next threaten of a permanent ban for absolutely nothing then. Far worse goes on and isnt noticed.

He could barely stand, I suspect concussion protocol kicks in now and he could be out for the next game?

He obviously had no idea that Richarlison was going to end up getting smashed by Bailly as a result but he's definitely given him a nudge.

And yea, it's usually a week before they can play again so you're looking at the next two games unless it's confirmed that he wasn't concussed.

If it isn't noticed then there's not much we can do. It's not an unreasonable request to not joke about somebody being seriously hurt omnom. You're usually the first person to complain about bad fouls etc so it's somewhat surprising that it's come from you.

I thought he was being a big pansy at first but yeah, he was out of it when he got up. Probably a good idea to take a bit of time out.

Mina was the pansy what he got hit by Olsen's glove, he barely got touched:D then the camera was on Big Dunc in the dugout and his face was a picture most probably thinking thinking "Man up and get on with it"

Good ol 'Richy' clearly wishes injury upon players with the way he's gone in :D

You'd lose a few players then :D (As would most teams, shockingly its those damn foreigners Grealish and Vardy who are the worst)

Wasn't really equivalent to the Martial/Lamela thing, in full agreement Martial did nearly nothing notable and Lamela even did worse prior. What Cavani did can be surprisingly painful.

Requesting it is one thing. Being over the top and threatening perma bans and swearing is another.

On the incident itself, what exactly is Bruno expecting to happen when he pushed Richarlison into Bailly? Im sure he isnt looking to get him knocked out but why would he do that if he isnt trying to hurt the player?

Players try to shove each other all the time and not really go for the ball, it really wasn't that dangerous and simple unfortunate, its nothing like the **** Kane pulls

I dont see it as any different to when a player pushes another off the pitch and into the hoardings. Why has he done that if it isnt to hurt the player?

Its all about intent and likely outcome. Thats why you usually punish based on intent and how dangerous something is. Shoving someone when you are running off the edge of the pitch towards the advertising hoardings only has a few outcomes. Surprisingly it isn't usually punished.

Kane ducks and back into and under jumping players effectively taking out their legs and usually making sure they land sideways or headfirst in the worst cases. Its very dangerous and more times than not it leads to a potentially nasty fall.

Nudging someone almost never results in anything nasty and if it does its horrendously bad luck and usually the result of a few other factors which again are bad luck.

Agreed Kane does it too often for it to be coincidence, he usually gets rewarded with a free kick as well.

What blows my mind is that people seem to genuinely believe that he isn't doing anything wrong and should be getting the foul. They say "hes going for the ball and if the other guy doesn't jump into him he would get it". Thats like arguing its not a foul because if the player wasn't between you and the ball you wouldn't have touched him.

The same crap argument against it comes out as well. "If it wasn't Harry Kane doing it you wouldn't care" or "other players do it too".

I don't know anyone that hates Harry Kane. I think he buys a lot of penalties but beyond that hes a fantastic player. The reason he gets singled out for it is that I haven't seen anyone else do it consistently and maliciously like Kane does. Players get singled out when they are repeatedly doing dangerous things on the pitch that others do once in a blue moon.

There is a video of a Korean play who broken his neck a few years ago from a similar action to what Kane is doing. Eventually it will happen in the PL.

Yes but, yes but he's English so can't possibly do anything wrong it's all them bloody foreigners that are always cheating, hate it because him Vardy and Maddison are the worst divers in the league (closely followed by Sterling) but as soon as someone like Martial or Salah do it they should be banned for x number of games because they're the dirty cheats.
