United need a massive shake up, really look poor.
It's not so much Oles fault, he didnt build the garbage team we have had for the last decade
Agree, there seems to be no thought process with Ole at all. Put a team out and pray lolOur team isn't as bad as we look most of the time. A good manager makes the most of what they have and coaches a team. Ole hasn't done this. We aren't blowing hot and cold, we are blowing cold and "our front 3 played well and we won". We still look like a team that isn't coached at all. How many teams have City been 3-0 up against at half time this season. We are a barely coached shambles hiding behind a "project" that Ole isn't going to ever complete because he isn't a top class manager.

You have Guardiola who has learnt from the last game against United and you have Ole who thought he could do the same again with Phil Jones in defence and against one of the best managers ever.
I used to think that, but now I just have no faith in anyone in the team. Our team isn't as bad as we look most of the time. A good manager makes the most of what they have and coaches a team. Guardiola has been in top level management for 12 years. Solskjaer 1 year at the top level with a few years in the Norwegian League. What do you expect some level of super power? The fact he has beaten Guardiola, Poch and drawn against Liverpool is a statement that he has got some brains. If anything he echoes the team we have blowing hot and cold because of the level of immaturity.
I mean, if we give Ole another few years he has to turn into Ferguson. Thats what happens when you give any manager time...
So put this another way, what makes you think a manager with 0 pedigree, top level experience or success has what it takes to manage United and make us a force again in football?
For every game we have played and won against a "big" team we have lost 3 against small ones we should be sweeping aside.
Forget about the teams they had but both Guardiola and Zidane had 0 pedigree before getting their job. They had a lot easier time learning their trade however due to the teams they inherited.
When you look at the big picture and sit back you can see the huge gulf tonight which is of no surprise really. I just hope Ole is given till the Summer and one more window to bring in some midfielders. Get to around October and then see then. It is the sad state of things that people expect everything now. People forget it has taken City a decade to get to the level they are at now.
Ole has got to go but so have the owners and woodward or nothing will changeIts a risk appointing an untested manager but Guardiola has shown that he can coach a team and has done so with different teams in different leagues. Zidane had one of the best teams ever and still required massive slices of luck to win 2 out of 3 of the CL titles he won. The jury is still massively out on Zidane.
It also hasn't taken City a decade to get to this level. They have been a brilliant team for at least 6 years but have suffered from inconsistent form and had sub par managers at times. Guardiola has them playing better than ever (or did last season). Good managers get the most of out their players and coach a style into their teams. Ole hasn't done this. Nothing about Ole has any echoes of the likes of Klopp, Guardiola, Simeone, Poch. Hell, Rogers has Leicester playing brilliant, effective football at the moment.
What is it about Ole that makes you think he is good enough to do what we are asking of him.
These Klopp comments are getting a little silly now. In his first half season he reached two Cup finals, in his first full season (with a negative net spend) he got us back in the CL, in his 2nd full season we reached a CL final, in his 3rd full season we won the CL and picked up 97 points and now, a little over 4 years in the job, we're breaking all sorts of records and well placed to win the League. In Ole's first half season you achieved nothing and got progressively worse and now in his first full season you look no better, having spent around the same as Klopp spent in his entire time at Liverpool. It has taken Klopp 5 years to win the league etc.
