Regardless of the offside that was sketchy defending with that many players back.
 
Man City really are Barca lite. The way their players snip at you, dig at you and try to cheat at every turn and then complain so bitterly at the slightest touch does my head in.

It’s called pressuring the opposition, something you are not aware of when you sit so deep.

Its called niggling at the opposition and teams that are allowed to constantly do it have a massive advantage. Refs should stop it.

Agreed. want to see more done to punish teams who cynically foul. Man City probably foul more than any team on the planet when defending.

They often have double the possession of the team they are facing but double the fouls.

Yet this season four players for Man U all have more fouls than the next City player (Rodri) :(

Its the cynical fouling but also the ever present little kicks, coming in behind the player receiving the ball and just pushing them a little, two players teaming up and neither properly fouling your guy but doing enough to ruin their momentum or put them off their stride.

Hope James is on as a tactical move or thats only Martial left as our strike options.

Have a look at how many fouls Fernandinho and Kante give away. Very few despite being two of the nastiest players around when it comes to fouling and stopping opposition attacks. If you are good at ****housery you don't get many cards. Refs should crack down on it.

Or maybe they aren't fouling at all and you're wanting to the game to become a none contact sport? You must have hated it when Keane and co played

Yeah, I mean maybe when they commit the same foul another player got booker for 5 minutes earlier its not a foul anymore...

I'm fine with fouls when its an attempt at getting the ball. Its all the sneaky crap I don't like. We're not going to agree so lets call it a day eh.
