Half Life 2 and FEAR are both quite system intensive so I'd try them. I'd also try whacking the detail levels up to stress the card to see if you can see any artifacts
You might see the same artifacts in 3D Mark as in your games so this is why I suggested looking for them. It might be a card issue or a game issue
You say that your other PCs are low spec but if they still have an AGP slot I'd try it in there. This would be another indication as to whether it's a card problem or an incompatibility with your PC
