What does it taste like? Can anyone describe it?

I drink John Smiths and was wondering if they was similar or are they completely different?

Just want to get an idea of what it tastes like as I don't know whether to try it, but I guess you don't know these things till you try them. lol.

We need that old bag with curley blonde hair off that old program "Food & Drink"
to describe it im affraid.

Beer :)

If it was calton then i could tell you :(

IU cant remember if ive had Carling or not :o

Um.. just go and try it :\

It tastes like pap. It's generally the cheapest, nastiest lager going, reserved only for the lager louts who want to have 20 bottles and vomit all over their white NEXT shirts.

its quite a generic larger flavor - imagine the john smiths without the slightly bitter taste, and any of the flavor (not that there is much) and you'll have it :)

Go to toilet in a bottle, water it down a touch with some tap water. Stick it in the fridge and drink it when its nice and cold. Will taste exactly the same as Carling! :)

Go on then, I was looking at the JD Weatherspoons websites at their different varieties of boozes.

I'm not a huge lager drinker but two I do like are Skinners Lager (formerly Cornish Storm) and Samuel Smiths. Both are all natural lagers, about as strong as Stella but without the chemicals.

As for bitter, Any of the Skinners and Sharps Ales (You can tell I'm from Cornwall) but when I'm at uni in Bournemouth I drink Spitfire, Badger or Ringwood ales.

The thing with ales is that you generally get different breweries in different areas so it's quite hard to say unless you're in the same part of the country.

spoons tend to have a pretty decent selection of international beers (inc VB zip :)) Just work your way through them all, preferably not in one sitting ;)

Corona is the undisputed king of lager. ;)

Corona wins...

other personal favourites are Miller and Kronenbourg 1664.

I will drink Grolsch if forced.

Guinness gets first place over any lagers when im out though, but you wanted lagers :p
