Carrying 5 passengers

Is she angry because you refused to take 5 or because you let her get out and not someone else?

If it is the first then she has issues because you did the right thing in not driving with that many people. If it is the latter then I agree with her. She is your girlfriend, don't make her wait while you give your mates a lift.
 
Yea I think her problem is more with the fact you left her there rather than kicking one of the other scrotes out and giving her a lift first which is a fair point
 
Yeah I think it's more that he wasn't alpha enough to kick one of the others out to be honest, big_white_dog84 should have told the last one in to FRO.

Same as you. My friends used to try and pull this one after a night out all the time, they soon realised the car went nowhere with more than 4 other people in it :p

Id be ****** to being left at work by my self at night by the person who was suposed to pick me up because they were dropping off My other work mates instead.

Yeah I wouldn't have left the bird there. I wouldn't have driven with 5 either. It'd have been 4 or straight home with the missus and no lift at all for anyone else.
 
I have to admit I'd have probably just taken them all and driven really carefully. I'm quite aware that it's a little risky both for getting caught or what would happen if there were an accident but that negligible risk is offset by fear of the girlfriend's wrath ;).
 
Why did you leave your girlfriend back at the office?
I would have just said im not driving off unless you lot get out and she gets back into the car.
 
Id have left them there and made them get a taxi, take your gf home of course. Not worth the risk with the police on high alert at this time of year for drink drivers, people are being pulled over all the time. Harsh on the girls I know but my license is more important to me than being seen as a good samaritan to 4 drunken women!
 
Can I clarify what happened. The 4 others were HER friends. I went to pick her up and nobody else (at 1am when there is a perfectly good taxi service I need to add). SHE offered 4 others a lift home and assumed I would carry them all. My solution was to do 2 runs, but she decided to throw a strop and wait for me to come back.
 
What car do you drive? She should have used her brain and realised that six people into a five seater car does not go tbh. Unless you drive a 7 seater that is.
 
Id of done the same but different by taking the Gf and two of her mates leaving the other two then id go back get them.. but id make sure the gf stayed with me at all times :P even if it ment me driving further and for longer. Drink is a wounderful thing.. she will calm down in time. Enjoy your Christmas mate

When she calms down and sees sense she will realise you were correct. If you had been caught it would not have been pretty especially as you were doing her a favour picking her up.
 
Last time we were faced with this situation, we just put someone in the boot. Of a hatchback. And then poked him with a metal rod lying on the floor of the car.
