Carrying 5 passengers

I would have just taken the gf and any that lived close to you and told the others to get a taxi together. No one gets left on their own, and you don't do anything illegally.

At the end of the day your doing them a favour, your under no obligation.

I had the same but drove off with all 5. First set of lights we come to, the police pulled alongside, then pulled me. I got a serious telling off, then the coppers made 2 get out to get a taxi.

In the future I would not tkae more than 4. Coppers said would be classed as dangerous driving.

done it once , although 5th was in the boot passed out

silly thing to do and ill honestly never ever do it again , plus my little car hardly moved with so much weight in it :(

if it wasnt a long journey id of left a few of them and done 2 trips , if it was a long journey id of only took the GF , or made them had a cat fight to decide who gets left

I picked my gf up from her work night out about half an hour ago, and as usual there were more people wanting a lift. I was happy to do this, until 5 people tried to pile in. I said I was only carrying 4, and refused to drive off while the 5 stayed in the car (without being argumentative). Eventually my gf said she would get out and wait while I dropped the other 4 off, but it was obvious she wasn't happy. Now she's not talking to me. What would you have done in this situation?

Im sure she'd be just as equally happy if a car had pulled out, you piled into at 40mph, and the rear passenger flying through the windscreen via your girlfriend.

Tell her to stfu to be perfectly honest.

depends how far the journey is

i had this recently with friends from work. But it was only 5 mins down the road and it was through the city centre so we never got above about 20mph. I just let everyone squeeze in.

wouldnt have done it for a long trip home. Ive had waited for somebody else other than my other half to volunteer, especially if there were any males in the group !
