Move it on to free up funds so my ex could go to Uni while I'd look after more of the house bills, who then a few months later cheated on me for the 2nd time and we split up. Even after 5 years with her and 2.5 with the car, I'm way more gutted about the car.

Still, being sensible now and just running the MX5 and clearing off a couple small debts then I can save up. Really fancy modding the MX5 and it's tempting to put a lot of £££ in but it really is one of those times putting money in the bank is the better option. No doubt the for sale threads on the forums will grab my attention and saving will flop on its face!

I miss my 1.3 Escort, it had a webber carb and not much else. Never gave me an issue in the 14 months I owned it bar the exhaust system falling off in my hands at the side of the road. The replacement was a much better car, just a persistent thorn in my side.

98 TVR Cerbera 4.5 :(
02 Alpina B3 :(

04 M3 Cab - was stock though so was inevitably going to be sold but it was sooooo nice :D

The only car I regret getting rid of was my 67 volkswagen 1200 Beetle. Still miss it to this day. Really slow but such a handsome car :(

Paying £800 for it and selling it for £2000 doesn't make it any better.

Replacing this....

Cheap to run a hoot to drive (despite the image of the 318i on here!)

With this, great to drive but not cheap to run....

BMW e38 728i
And a much greater regret changing that to this..... :o

Mondeo 1.8TD LX - not the DAF XF.....

My regret for ditching the e38 is so great, I'm going to remedy the situation with another.

Nova GSI.

I blew the engine and instead of buying another i sold the car which was immaculate for a couple hundred quid, it had 16" alessio alloys, a mongoose exhaust system blah blah blah.

managed to rack up about 40k miles on it over a space of about 14 months and it really was the last time i really enjoyed driving.

Still see it driving about now, still in good condition except he sold the alessio's for more than i paid for them and i think its now got some really nasty TSW venom copy's on there.

My wires old megane auto. Complete nail but went on and on and on for bugger all outlay (other than tax and mot).

My written off e36 323i. So much so that I'm considering changing my diesel for an e36 328 coupe.

My 96N Reg MR2 and I don't even have a picture of it, I sold it to move to Nottingham with my GF, the day after I sold it and 2 weeks before we moved she dumped me. I still went to Notts (and am still there now) but in hindsight I loved that car more than her and to this day I don't know why I got rid of it and not her.

If I saw it again now, I would not be able to stop myself either weeping or buying it. I still feel like I let a really good friend down that day.

You don't regret seeing your Mondeo in a state of ruin?

Just because you have upgraded and are 100% happy with the upgrade, doesn't mean that you are happy with what happened to the car you replaced.

I don't regret getting rid of it and would not want it back at all. I enjoyed it when I had it, but when I moved on it was time to move on and I had no regrets.
