Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 1 (FAO: Mods not the sequel!!!)

Are the textures any good in the demo? That was the only nasty thing on the console version... The textures, specially for the back drops were horribly bad.

I can't wait, won't get to try the demo until tomorrow :(
 
Thank you for posting info on this game, the trailer looks epic. Gonna try out the demo soon, see how my 6850, quadcore and 8gig of ram handle it, Will report back with some info. Looks a steal for under 20 notes as well :)
 
Played the demo and it ran well, fraps was not working but no stuttering or slow downs, settings i used was shadow on medium, AA yes, Anisotrpic x8 and Ambient Occlusion off. Looks like blocked timing is gonna be key to doing enemies ;)

It's daylight robbery lol. If you like it, there are hundreds of hours in this game.

Indeed, blocked timing is key :) So is dodging though. And uses of dark and light magic.
 
I was looking forward to this game, but wasn't impressed with the demo tbh.

Demo is just the prologue to show you controls its the pre level1 intro really. Actual game is epic/awesome/amazing artwork/epic music/epic movie quality voiceovers/ some incredible boss battles.

Gameplay is simple hack n slash with minor RPG elements but overall the amount of content with the 2 DLC packs thrown in for free makes the £17.99 pre-order price on Steam daylight robbery :eek:
 
Looks pretty cool. Voice acting seems top notch from the vids I've seen on YouTube. Gotta get this ordered!

Anyone know is it best played kb+m or controller?
 
After playing the demo... fairly clear I will finally have to crack and buy controller for the pc...though that would also mean I can finally get around to playing Dark Souls as well :)
 
Whaaaa! Demo only includes literally the intro to the game. Doesn't even show you the magic!!!

Oh god, pre ordered though, solid 60fps with vsyn on and everything max, can't wait!!!!
 
Wireless xbox 360 controller works perfectly. Once I get home from work i will test it for 2560 x 1600. Got the controller for Dark Souls too so it seems well worth the investment.
 
Don't know, not at home and not looked at my PC since I left it encrypting an external hdd on Friday night haha. Will check when I get home.

But I can't wait! This and SC:Blacklist tonight :D
 
I have been reading a walk through (work is slow...) which is pretty pointless, know the game like the back of my hand. I'm just oh so VERY excited to play it again on the PC. I REALLY hope the graphics have been at least updated with high resolution textures. The demo played lovely and it was nice to play it at a solid 60fps!
