Cat n Fiddle run on the gixxer.

Found the vids. Load of OCUK fuss about nothing. Everyone pretends they drive/ride to the speed limit on here OP. I'd save it for other forums.

Having been in a car that's hit a ******* idiot of a "biker" on that road, head on, I have no sympathy at all for bikers acting like utter choads on that road.

You'll be glad to hear the biker that hit us (whilst on the wrong side of the road) didn't die, but fortunately can no longer walk \o/

get over yourself

Nobody here has any problem with people braking the speed limit. Somebody here posted that they'd got caught doing 60 odd in a 50 dual carriagway and how sorry he was, everybody told him not to be and not to worry as its only 3 points.

Its about the manor of the driving, and crucially how much you break the speed limit by that makes it stupid.

Been riding for 18 years now and driving for the same and i still think the OP is a plank for both posting it and riding like that.

Ignoring the riding and even the road as been on it many a time too, its seeing the attitude by OP and other hero riders that just winds the Police up to pull us all for the smallest things these days.

However, hopefully in fact that OP is now going to do some track days it will calm him down on the roads and let him show off his not too shabby riding on the track as opposed to the road.

Then keep the Gixxer for track and buy a proper british bike for the roads!

Everyone buys a Gixxer thou to sit at 70mph on the morning commute on the M1 don't they? Get real. The fact of the matter is that bikers are targeted and labelled. This video would have less of an impact if it was someone driving a car doing that. Bikers aren't all hooligans. Some of those overtakes etc were a bit harsh, but generally a lot of bikers would consider that a normal ride out. I love th etypical OCUK "he pulled a wheelie so must do time" brigade.

It's not what, it's where and when. Whoever was the lead rider was riding like an idiot. Six inches off the back quarter waiting to overtake. You don't need to do that with 174bhp - it's obnoxious and unnecessarily dangerous. I'm not an angel, I've been beeped at, flashed at, yelled at for doing things that look dangerous to the average car driver but there's the matter of just being halfway sensible with your and other people's lives.

People that ride like that, if they do it for any length of time, end up in pieces.

They get roads ruined, they get cameras put up, they get speed limits lowered, and they make things harder for all of us.

Riding reminds me a lot of that video from last year or year before who pulled out just as another car pulled out.

If i recall the rider was decapitated.

Am sure he was a hero rider too whose internet friends all thought he was the best and just using his bike they way it was meant to be used......

And the OCuk brigade rubbish is just that. Sent the links to some of my friends who have been riding longer than me and some are seriously good riders and same response came back.....stupid banker!

What a stupid, horrible attitude. It would be nice to see your stance on the matter when your affected by someone else's or your own dangerous driving, god forbid.

So if you buy any performance vehicle nowadays do you get a licence to ride/drive however you like on public roads? Bikers are targeted and labelled because of idiots like this. There are a lot less bikes on the roads than cars, so when Joe Public see's an idiot on a bike it sticks with them. That's what causes the hatred for bikers. I see idiots in cars everyday so I'm used to it. If someone in a Ferrari was making videos driving like that down the cat and fiddle I'd treat them exactly the same as I would a biker.

Yeah a lot of bikers would consider this a normal ride out, doesn't make it right though does it. That's what track days are for. Hopefully the OP can put his good riding skills to use somewhere he wont have the chance ruin someone else life. Or even his own.

Yep, i missed that comment. Has to the most retarded comment I've read on this forum. And that's saying something!

Yes, obviously I'm retarded for being glad its one less idiot able to ride like an utter ******* on the roads.

He was going full on, on our side of the road, round a blind bend. It was only through luck of the bounce that he didn't come straight through our windscreen and kill either the driver or front passenger. Got what he deserved IMO.

How do you decide he was going 'full on' ? can you work out in your brain the speed of a vehicle? bikes are smaller thus they seem to be going quicker than they actually are. I have over shot bends in roads at low speeds, also when ive been going quicker than i should have , im sure you have made mistakes in your car that could have caused you to crash and hurt yourself. or maybe not so it seems.

oh.... and ..
You're the exact reason we have the bloody SPECS in the first place.

Way to ruin it for the locals.
awwww sounds like you want to drive like a 'maniac' to then , afterall your complaining about these bloody specs? no?

Sorry but you seem to just want to defend idiot riders day in and out. After being out on my bike for 6 hours today yet again its the total planks who ruin it for everyone else and no doubt will either kill themselves or worse someone else.

Who the hell be it car or bike goes on the wrong side of the road on a blind bend as Paradigm has just stated! And your trying to defend it!

Far too many weekend warriors and heroes on the roads and worst is you all defend each other as if your riding gods.

Touch wood in my 18 years on 2 wheels i've yet to have an off or so much as scratch my paint or anyone elses and i can still outride most of the idiots on the road as soon as i'm on the track. And that's with Arthritic joints! Rules of the road apply no matter what vehicle and common courtesy for other road users is just that, courtesy.

Funny how its most of the riders who have got there license in that last 10 years or so that i find are the worst.

Anyway, this is a no win argument as too many folk seem to defend bad riding as making progress. Rest of us can make great progress still without winding anyone else up on the road. Fancy that!

I dont think anyone is trying to defend bikers that ride like complete tools. Finding it funny that they end up in a wheelchair is just a step to far in my book though. Oh well, ill just bow out of this now as like people have said its a no win argument.

I'm pretty sure I never took any corners on a blind bend. if you've done the fiddle yourself you'll know that all the bends are wide, open bends.
