Big improvement in Skyrim, lots more fps and very smooth, far cry 3 however is worse, not playable now, fps down by 50% from around 60 to 30 average and very jerky gameplay; will play around with the options tomorrow, took me ages to get it to run smoothly before so probably just the game

Great drivers for me so far, flickering in Far Cry 3 has been fixed at last and the new application profiles page is a huge improvement.

Meh Skyrim was smooth for me with Radeon Pro Dynamic Vsync but ill try it with these new drivers.

Farcry 3 worse??!!! how can it get any worse? Jesus i thought that would be at the top of their list?!!! it was in their Never settle bundle, probably why they sold so many cards tbh!

If you stopped with the selective reading, you wouldn't make silly posts like this any more.

far cry 3 is running the same or maybe a little bit smoother for me
was using that cap2 thing before with the betas

Try disabling Crossfire for Far Cry 3, im running a single 7950 and getting solid 60fps with rare dips into the low 50's.

Farcry 3 is running much better now. Before Xfire actually made it worse. Now I actually get improvements with it, albeit only a tiny one.

As always some fixes work for some and not for others.

As for the guy who said his FPS halved on far cry, I would suggest he has had a corrupt install or some other problem. Dont think Ive ever seen FPS half in a game due to a driver update.

Corrupt install of what? The latest drivers or the game? I'll redownload them tomorrow and try again, was getting 60fps limited via afterburner before, following install of these drivers i'm getting anywhere between 20 and 45fps now, going up and down like a yoyo

Oooh, so what you actually mean is, I started my post before he posted, and took 3 minutes to type two sentences?

"I posted that before him" means something completely different, it means you posted before he did which we all know you didn't.

Now JESUS!!!! Who cares? Seems like most people are getting better performance in FC3 anyways.

It's not really forum policing though, you have a habit of saying stuff that isn't true, or that's unfounded and plain ignorant.

I've pointed out before that if you just used your brain a bit more to think before you post, less people would point out that you're talking rubbish.

Windows 7 - 12.11 Beta - score 1929 - FPS 76.6 - Min 29.3 - Max 163.9
Windows 8 - 12.11 Beta - score 1935 - FPS 76.8 - Min 29.8 - Max 164.3
Windows 8 - 13.1 - score 1943 - FPS 77.1 - Min 30.3 - Max 166.1

I do this each time I install new drivers and it would seem theses now keepers

Onto some games tomorrow.

Should mention GPU Overclock 1100/1500
