Eh, dont belive those results.

And there is none for Vista :(.

But one thing is for sure, if those results are correct, and the performance increase is carried through more games, then the 2900's should get a whole lot better.
 
I've been hearing a lot lately that ATI has some suprises in the upcoming drivers, I'm going to remain optimistic ;).

Which driver is the 7.10? (8.42?)
 
On these 8.0's, what is the Driver Packaging Version in CCC information center, if its 8.411, then thats 7.9's still.

Err, Sega rally, isn't that game like ten years old? should be hitting the thousands in fps in that.

Sega Rally is the new game ;) Its just out and has some cracking visuals ;)

Also yes catalyst 7.10 is correct, some people :rolleyes: it will change to 8.01 when it is 2008! this is the 10th driver release for 2007! Nice find :D
 
Probally be another poor console to pc port like most sega titles, release date looks to be the 29th of september, this guy must have got his early.

OMG This set is incredible, I'm getting 50 more fps in fear and crysis beta runs at 70pfs average all on high with 8xAA, YEEEES!!!









































I wish, same old story for me, don't notice any difference.:mad:
 
Lol. Fair enough. Will I've got a question for you, with your 2900XT overclocked is it stable?
Is it on stock cooling?
 
Mine is 100% stable at 840gpu-930mem on stock cooling, i have my fan hit 55% in game to keep it nice and cool.

I'm getting blue screens in the crysis beta with these so I'm heading back to the 7,9's.
