CEX - never again!

Looking at selling my old Xbox 360 Slim (250GB). Bizzarely CeX are offering £79 cash which seems more than any of them are going for on eBay. That's according to online. If I take it in tomorrow in my lunch break am I likely to actually get that? I take it I need to sign up for a membership as well, is that easier done online or can I potentially avoid it in-store? (Bearing in mind I want cash, not vouchers). TIA.

in my experience you get what it says online.
just make sure your matches the description, same colour, storage size and if it says boxed

i see the slim 250gb unboxed says Discounted, this means they wont buy it, but the boxed one docent say this

Never had a problem with anything I've taken in but I do think they've got more picky post COVID as profits drop and competition increases. As others have said there are other options but these might require a bit more work on the sellers part.

Thanks. Their descriptions are so vague. I know my Xbox came with one controller and cables etc. I have all that in the box yet their description for instance doesn't mention the controller. You think they'd give me an extra £13 for it as their site says? Or would they expect it in the box

EDIT: Oh I see it says consoles require one compatible controller with them. Darn!
