CEX shop

I was about to say I wouldn't buy any PC components from there but then I remembered I bought a 560ti a few years ago. It allowed me to play GTA5 at 1440p (low settings) with a G3258 and it worked well.

CeX are OK for older computer parts (apart from when they get it wrong), bit like eBay but only same day walk in walk out service. My local shop has a beat up SNES in for £140, I bet they only gave the seller a tiny fraction of that. It's like when you trade in a totally mint 15 year old car and the dealer gives you pennies for it "cos it's old init" but then advertises and sells it for a lot more than your average 15 year old car "cos it's in mint condition".

The server RAM I returned is no doubt back in their pile for sale as according to the website my local shop has one in stock ever since I returned it yet when I got it exchanged they only had one so should have been zero.

I popped in my local store yesterday to have a look.

had a few HD7890s in there for £55 but I have never bought anything from there just window shop lol

i ordered a gtx560ti 2win from them the other week and they sent an asus gtx560 1gb dcuii........ not sure how they get confused between the two. one has 3 fans and one has 2, so even the dimmest person must be able to count to 3?

Relies on them knowing what 2win and dcuiii actually relates to...
