Hi

Last week I sent my ps4 to Cex, my tracking shows that they received it last Friday but since then I haven't heard anything. Sent them an email no reply and there doesn't seem to be a contact number. Has anyone sent stuff to them and had to wait this long? Guess I should have taken to one of there shops rather than selling it to them via the website..

I've done both in the shop and online. Saves postage (and courier risks) taking it to the shops, but then you have to deal with the local clientele. Always seems to be someone trying to flog a stolen phone when i go in there.

Never had an issue doing either though (and i've done some pretty big orders), although last time i tried to sell a PSVR along with some other bits and they said they didn't have enough cash for the VR and could only give me store credit (a sly ploy i imagine).

I thought CEX stopped that tactic when they introduced paying money directly into your bank account after goods had been tested.

I asked if they would be willing to do a BT and they said they didn't have the means in store.....

I sold a phone online, it took them about 2 weeks to process after they received it. Payment was received the day after they updated the status.
