Champion's League Final **Will include spoilers**

I didnt say it was my view did I. But the list of clubs and big games he doesnt score in are longer than the ones he has. Real madrid are hardly a defensive stronghold or even a great team anymore. They are a team of ego's.

I'm interested to see if Henry can cut it in the world cup this time, because on the other big occasions he's been nowhere.

5 goals in the world cup 1998 (I believe)

People do say he shy's away, always sticks a couple past us though, and has popped up against the mancs a few times !

He's the best player in the world, without doubt.

He just said about the shot he missed that he had no power at all in his leg.. just couldn't do it

Definately, Ronny was pretty poor imo today and when henry did get through he far outshone ronaldinho flicking his foot around like a spastic.

Henry can get past with style..

It's like Dumbledore v. uri geller

:p

(I am lost for a good comparison here if you didn't notice :p)

Hang on Hang on!

The Referee wasnt THAT bad.
Eboue, two footed studs up tackle on Ronadinho? on the edge of the box, automatic yellow card?
2x yellow equals red?

Some very good tackles by both sides being called as fouls and they shoudnt.
Arsenal were gifted the chance to score by "terrible" refereeing.

The best team won, its as simple as that, Arsenal should have perhaps concentrated more on playing than wasting time, they might of got a couple more goals.
LOL, you say the ref wasnt bad then list all the mistakes he made :D I guess you mean he wasnt one sided?

Spot on even though the ref was bad in his own right, Alumnia is a liability and really should have saved both goals though. If Lehmann was there then we would have probably won tbh.

Are you completely forgetting that he kept you in the game a lot of times with great saves and generally good goal keeping, the first one maybe he should have had. But the second wasnt his fault, the power he hit it with meant he had to get down so so quick, and he almost did

More truth from Henry

"eleven against eleven we were far the better side"

1 - 0 down with eleven men i would have still fancied arsenal to do the business, we were all over barca prior to lehmann being sent off

No he didnt, the keeper took him out, he blew. He didnt know the next player running in would score.

He must have seen Giuly there though? Just let it run for a second, isn't that what referees get told? I agree with what you said though, as soon as he blows he has to send him off. All I am saying is that if he waited just 1 second he wouldn't have had to make that decision

IF Lehman was there you would have been one nil down in the first half and mabye would have been hammered on the break.
But because he is a complete clown, he wasnt.

well...

im left empty really...

HARSH.

Pathetic referee..... Pathetic.

Henry.... well done for saying the truth.

Arsenal were robbed.... Arsenal were better 11v11.

End of

LMAO oh dear oh dear, you do come out with some utter rubbish dont you??.

Simply put the best team didnt win, Barca were odds on favourites to win for sure once Lehmann had gone off simple as that. Yes Arsenals goal was lucky, perhaps in hindsight they dhouldnt have got it but then you could say the same with Barca's first goal, it was offside simple as that.

Anyways such is life, win some and lose some.

No, i am saying its very EASY to say oh he's complete crap.
and then list a things he should have done to the other side.
But completly neglect to mention what he should have done to YOUR side, which could have made things even worse, had he followed the laws of the game.

That was a terrible piece of work by the ref, and totally gutted for Arsenal and Henry.

Henry has come out and said exactly what was on his mind, could be some trouble for him from the authorities.

Well done Barca but that was not a fair game from what I saw.

LMAO yeh right if thats what you think there fella;). We would have been one nil down but at least we would have had a full team. I know what id prefer tbqh, at least 11 v11 it would have given us a proper chance to equalise and therefore have a chance of some real footy being played. But thanks to a terrible and utterly idiotic ref, we didnt stand a chance and also Aluminia being a bit of a liability because really he should have saved those 2 goals simple as that. But the second goal was given to Barca, Arsenal didnt bother defending against it tbh.

I know a few Arsenal players made the most of challeneges, one blatant dive leads to a goal in the first half. Then he is as equally shocking 2nd half to everyone. He was just a completely utterly crap ref to all sides.
