Champions League Spoilers 7th/8th March

I think its shocking that fans of other English clubs wanted Chelsea to lose.
I see that attitude from people i know, and by the looks of it, some people on here. Shocking really.
Even if you are rivals to a team domestically, you should support them in Europe until they come up against your own team (should that happen).

Why is that?
What is so wrong with it and why should we?

One of the resons I stopped going to England games was the hypocritical attitude of most of the fans.
The whole stadium bouncing in ellation of an Alan Shearer goal only for him to be booed at every stadium he plays at at club level.
Same goes for Beckham and Ashley Cole.

Willing on another premier league team , even from my armchair , is something that feels even more alien to me.
The odd underdog in Europe maybe (Ipswich or Milwall a few years back) or a domestic result that would improve your teams position yes , but a glory tie in the European cup?
No way.

I agree that on ocasions he does a flick/trcik when he could just play a normal pass, but you have to admit that its nice to see.
Out of interest who are the 2 players? I hope and think Kaka will be 1 but can't think of a 2nd.
Zidane in his prime. & Kaka.
It has been commented by the national team that Kaka is more of a team player than Ronny.
Dont get me wrong. Ronaldinho is good. But rarely does his tricks do anything but look good.
Zidane & Kaka, when they do a trick, it does something for the team, like beating several players, or a good pass. And they arnt afraid of playing the ball simply. Ronaldinho seems almost incapible of doing anything that isnt a trick.
Yes it is nice to watch, but whats nicer is when said niceity benefits the team. :p (thats a lot of 'nice's')

I wouldn't say Kaka's tricks work out for the benefit of the team 100% of the time.
Most of the time. No-one is perfect.
If you had to put a % on it, i'd say 60-70% of his tricks benefit the team.
Ronnys is more like 10-20%.

REAL MADRID president Fernando Martin delivered a Champions League warning to Arsenal when he roared: “My players will eat you alive!”

Steady now!

I thought it was a poor match last night. Chelsea were very diappointing and did not deserve to draw the match, never ming go though to the next round.

As an aside, that must have been the softest penalty i've seen given this season.

I've got major butterflies. We've got a damn good chance of knocking The Bestest and Most Famousest of All Teams Ever™ out of the CL tonight, and I'm nervous as hell, but I can't wait! :D
