I see that attitude from people i know, and by the looks of it, some people on here. Shocking really.
Even if you are rivals to a team domestically, you should support them in Europe until they come up against your own team (should that happen).
Why is that?
What is so wrong with it and why should we?
One of the resons I stopped going to England games was the hypocritical attitude of most of the fans.
The whole stadium bouncing in ellation of an Alan Shearer goal only for him to be booed at every stadium he plays at at club level.
Same goes for Beckham and Ashley Cole.
Willing on another premier league team , even from my armchair , is something that feels even more alien to me.
The odd underdog in Europe maybe (Ipswich or Milwall a few years back) or a domestic result that would improve your teams position yes , but a glory tie in the European cup?
No way.
