Forums
No goodbye posts.
You have to balance the MM getting to a point where there's so few people with access the quality of "For Sale" and Purchases drops though.Amazing how many people can't understand something so simple.
Should be 50 posts per 90 days though, weed out even more non contributers
You quoted before my stealth edit where I'd typed out a post earlier today and thought better of it.
Ah man, the CEO of OCUK is gonna be fuming the KPIs of the MM are dropping. You have to balance the MM getting to a point where there's so few people with access the quality of "For Sale" and Purchases drops though.
FORUMS!!!! FORUMS I SAY!!!You quoted before my stealth edit where I'd typed out a post earlier today and thought better of it.
Exactly!FORUMS!!!! FORUMS I SAY!!!
So you were just here for the mm then?Probably won't bother coming back, tata.

As has been stated several times now, this change isn't to increase forum traffic. It's to stop people only using the forum to buy and sell when they reach 1000 posts.
The moderators are all volunteers, why wouldn't we automate something that used to take a considerable amount of our time now that the forum software gives us the ability to do so?
I'm all for automation, but perhaps it would have been wise to exclude long-standing members who have already contributed significantly to the forum in their "hey-day" as it were.
You could have posted this on page 2 - and yet it's still valid, as the problem still exists. This is a brand new point that definitely hasn't already been discussed in the thread.
Edit - oh no wait, I think I've got that wrong

It's not a problem, it's a deliberate aim of the rule. You could have posted this on page 2 - and yet it's still valid, as the problem still exists.
Yes.

Which many members, as shown, see as a problem. It's not a problem, it's a deliberate aim of the rule.
Why? You’ve barely used MM and haven’t posted in there for years.Probably won't bother coming back, tata.
