Changes coming to Amazon Prime

I'm still on the £49 Prime but friends here have said that super saver used to be around 3 days and is now closer to 7. Might be a local postal issue though.

Yep, super saver now takes at least 5 days for me as well now. It wouldn't be so bad if prime actually worked here. Back in January I placed a few orders on the prime trial and only one arrived the next day. Despite all being eligible for prime and being in stock two took 3 days, one took four days and the last took over a week. Two weeks ago I was on another prime trial (they sent me a card with a offer) and placed a order for a couple of dvd's. Again both in stock and eligible for prime yet they took three days to arrive. Not exactly the best way to persuade someone to sign up to this full time.

Yes.. Threads merged.

I accidentally signed up for the service for a free trial and forgot to cancel. They refunded my money as I never used it outside the trial period and were quite helpful. £79 is a bit steep tbh.

I don't know if anyone else find this but the video quality of amazon prime video is far better than netflix which is why I cancelled the netflix subscription.

I never noticed any difference, might see if there is a duplicate film and see a difference :o
TV shows are a pain though, unless i'm being 'special' there isn't an autoplay?

Just cancelled my prime, as I cant use the prime video service on our Samsung Tablets, as they are not supported. And its a faff to get them to play.

I was skeptical if I would use the instant video part at all, but have used it quite a lot, watched all of Vikings, quite a few movies, even some old episodes of Mysterious Cities of Gold. I probably would have renewed for the next day delivery anyway as I use amazon enough, but pleasant surprise that I actually use the video part.

Always found it worse, thats through the PS3 app mind.

We have both Netlix and Prime at the min and I'd say Prime is doing well at the min with the new content being added.

I just wish they would do a proper Android app and also allow more than one profile.

I do wonder if it is just device related.
I compared a few TV shows and the difference was huge, even my non-techy wife point it out without me even saying anything.

Could entirely be down to my TV but I found the netflix quality very poor.

Started to watch a bit more on amazon prime, they seem to be getting a few hard to watch ones. Recently Now you see me and Gran Toronto.

It's still lacking compared to Netflix, but if they continue to add harder to fine titles. Then it'll be worth it come renewal.

Started a new Netflix free trial to compare and i wasn't seeing things, using my LG TV's built in Apps prime was a million times better visual quality. Netflix was a blurry, blocky over compressed smudged mess, and the app looked like windows 3.1.
Plus points to the netflix app is it retains the watch list that you can create on line. For some perverse reason the Prime app doesn't link to the online watch list on LG TVs

Bumping this to get some more opinions on Prime at the moment. Considering using my free 30 day trial to get some last minute presents, as all the Styx lockers are full and I want the stuff ASAP.
