Chat logs from iw cod4 session (pc stuff only)

Of course, if IW.net is rubbish...the multiplayer element on MW2 will die VERY fast. Bet they didn't think about that either.

Another good thing with dedicated servers of course. The game stays alive for longer because of the servers being there, and not connecting to people.

I seriously hope this is the biggest multiplayer flop around on PC.

...and then IW will just say the PC market is dying and will justify their next release having even less "custom stuff" for PC :(

We're screwed either way...
 
Cos it gives them the ammo to just give us a crappy console port and not do any work on a PC version...Or take it to one conclusion they don't even bother with a PC version.
 
Forgive my ignorance but what is lean and why is it important?

Edit: I'm an idiot. I just realised what it is :o The engineer in me thought it was maybe an acronym for something

Why the high price tag? I understand taking money from the console players, but as an avid PC gamer, my wallet is not so giving for a game that lacks so many features.

If there is no console, how can you expect people with low-end PC's to play the game with sufficent FPS? As in COD4, you could remove things such as decals in order to gain much needed frames per second.

Don't worry, I did exactly the same thing mate. I was like, "what's this lean thing?". Definitely an engineer thing :p

I thought it was a chat feature :o
 
So as it uses VAC that is quite easy to hack on (CSS comes to mind) - Plus you cannot kick players... I don't think thats gonna work somehow...
