Cheapest UK 4G and 5G Unlimited Mobile Data Plans Compared – 2024

Not sure why it's triggered you.

Really, doesn't it bother you that you work hard to give money through taxes to people who have no thought of earning their own but just want to take from the state?
I think you are on your own there.

Again nothing to do with those who deserve it.

Doesn't it bother you that the mega rich pay much less tax than you do? And then take from the banks?

I don't care what other people do or are entitled to. It makes no difference to my life.

I have just got an iPad with wifi and cellular. This is my first iPad that will take a SIM card. Basically I would like a PAYG option whereby I can just bung £30 or whatever on it and forget about it until it runs out. I would be a light users as most of the time I would expect to be connected to wifi but it would be nice to have the option. I see the Best PAYG options link up there but is there anything better out there for data only?

I guess it depends on how much you plan in using it, but I usually look at Scancom who specialise in this sort of thing. You can pick up a pre-paid data-SIM for £79.99 that is valid from now until 07/2025, here. The have many other offers, some are fixed amounts of data valid over a fixed period of time, and others are shorter term and lower monthly amounts etc.

Hi

Been with EE for years. On SIM only, unlimited data & minutes.

Noticed I'm paying £25 per month (out of contract)

I'd like to lower that cost, keep my number.

What can I do and who offers good deals. Just seems a bit expensive for SIM only

Thanks

I’m with Voxi £10 pm for unlimited min/texts and 30gb data and endless social media.

Been with them for many years and does my needs.

You should be able to get a SIM only for around 10 or less. I've got 5g all you can eat for around £8/month. Use a comparison website to find out who's offering what.

Whole family are on O2 sim only plans - was Virgin.

Minimum is 10gb/free text/free minutes and the most we pay is £8 a month. 4 of us is £31 a month.

Looks like O2 have massively bumped the prices for new people - Virgin was a steal on sim only.

I've been with Sky for 5+ years now on sim only, cheapest package as I rarely need data. £7 a month but any data I don't use rolls over so in a pinch I can add more from my 'pot' without it costing any extra.
