Why should they get the bubbly on ice? Surely signing Schevchenko isn't that big of a deal if the best striker in the world already plays at a different club in the same league.

Shevchenko is one of the top strikers in the world. Drogba isn't and while Crespo was one of the best, he isn't anymore.

While I agree Henry is the better strike, it's completely debatable and whoever is the better striker only just shades it.

With Chelsea absolutely walking the Prem last season with Didier bloody Drogba playing most games, it's certainly got to be worrying that they're almost certainly going to sign one of the best strikers in the world and have also aquired the services of one of the best midfielders in the world too!

True but they still won it by 8 points, and it may have been 14 points if they fielded decent teams in the last 2 matches.

Shevchenko is going to get around 20 goals in the premiership no season, there is just no doubt about it, he has been the best striker in world football for the last 5 years.
Amazing player, and with ballack in midfield CHAVSKI will **** on manYOO, arsenal and liverpool
