Of course they are. I remember people were trying to claim everyone coming in to the country were professionals, or refugee families fleeing horrific wars. In reality, it's all working-age men, who don't want to work. People don't even pretend it's refugees anymore, better to just put fingers in ears and close their eyes.

So you figured you would counter the broad and ill-informed claim of "everyone coming into the country were professionals" with an equally broad and ill-informed claim that "it's all working-age men, who don't want to work".

Strange though, I was watching an episode of "Saving Lives at Sea" on BBC Iplayer the other night and unless the crew of the lifeboat(s) were lying, the cameraman was lying and the images the camera recorded were fake, I recall seeing both women and children being rescued from a RIB trying to cross the channel.

This would seem to be rather at odds with your broad (and ill-informed) statement of "it's all working-age men, who don't want to work".

Ah, you're right. The BBC showed it, and they are a truly wonderful source of information these days.
Woman and child in-shot, fully diverse and mixed lot of people entering illegally.

All the Scientists, Engineers, Nuclear physicists , rocket scientists, doctors and nurses already came over here, now they are bringing their extended families over, but since they have such good jobs I'm sure they won't be a burden with their family reunification visas

I have seen that. My wife is Chinese, and for a very short time we considered moving back for a while and sorting this all out. Just to have options in the future.
Absolutely not worth it. :D We'd be better off going to France, burning our passports and sailing over on a door.

I take it from your weak sarcasm that you doubt either what was shown on the show, or the BBC's integrity.

I assume then that you must prefer that Bastion of Truth that is Youtube or Social Media, which given your previous broad and ill-informed comment(s) I can only assume that is where you formed your opinion that "they are all working-age men who don't want to work."

I am sorry that the BBC produced a program that directly contradicts your pre-conceptions and collides horribly with your ill-informed opinion, but that would seem to be a YOU problem.

I mean you just said "they are a truly wonderful source of information these days" about the BBC, implying heavily that when it comes to the BBC you've got your fingers in your ears and eyes closed so if the shoe fits. :cry:
 
Fair. When it comes to the BBC, I'd rather anything else.
The last thing from them I saw was earlier in this thread, in the clip/quote where they'd got to the bottom of this case and exposed the truth behind it.
