I would like to try out a pure chilli based version. This obviously relies on lots of low scoville chillis like Ancho. Where does everyone buy these? I'm based in London but I'm happy to order online as well.

My chilli paste mix has always been a 3:2:2 tsps chilli powder/cumin/paprika, then id chuck in some chillis after tomatoes are added.

Since I found the very (or super) hot chilli powder in the asian section of the supermarkets, 3 tsps of this blows my head off. And I quite like spice! So pure chilli sounds lethal

I've used both:

I used Ancho, Chipotle in Arbol sauce, Arbol and Guajillo
