Chinese Grand Prix 2010, Shanghai - Race 4/19

I'll be up in the morning as usual. Who else would make the tea, fetch biscuits and do rain dances? :p

See you all then. :)

Are you going to predict this every race until he wins one :p

I actually did predict he'd get pole today, I'm quite surprised how far down he finished. If he doesn't get stuck behind a slow-poke again then he should get a podium, but this really is RBR's to lose. Looking untouchable at the minute and I'm quite amazed they (and Vettel for the WDC) aren't odds-on yet.

Even a broken watch is right twice a day. :D

Actually, I want a Mercedes win, purely so stupid Webber is forced to eat his words re. their championship challenge being over :p

Just because the mediocre driver is in a quick car, he now thinks he's big dog - chap needs a slice of humble pie!

Clearly you dont know him, he is one of the most down to earth drivers on the grid.

Sounds like some of the teams are starting to worry about Barcelona due to the farting volcano.

If it doesn't clear up soon it could be a close call to get the cars sorted and shipped out to Spain.

Sending them by boat from china isn't an option. Trucks are a possibility - fly them to Paris and then truck them from there.

Anyone awake?

The weather.... Sarah Holt says on Twitter "It's sunny & 20C now but the word is light rain is due early afternoon & then heavy rain later, either of which means it'll miss the race" - with a couple other pundits saying similar things I think Knip will need to dance naked or something for rain :O

Ooh, hopefully you can! I mean, you wouldn't want to miss the for sure's in the race build up would you?

I haven't been to sleep yet, going to stay up (hopefully), though I've been up since the qualifying this morning at 6AM :D - Am I mad?

Uni work and Bad Company 2 = interesting times :p

Paris is closed as well, but Spain looks to still be ok.

Good thing some time between now & the next race.

Assuming most parts are coming from their bases/factories, they can start trucking them ASAP. Stuff from China, I guess flying to Spain is still not an issue

Wish everyone would stop harping on about wet races, it's getting really tedious.

F1 has never really been non-stop overtaking madness, yes everyone remembers the odd spectacular race but really speaking F1 events turn out to be processional affairs, it's the nature of the beast.

Not every race is going to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller!
