Chinese Grand Prix 2010, Shanghai - Race 4/19

Why should he though, as Vettel was behind him in the grid slots you could have argued that Vettel should have backed off. Lewis followed his lollypop mans instructions (which assume he is safe to be released) and was back ready to race again.

Ok to clarify, either of them could've backed off and avoided a dangerous situation. I personally don't think either of them should be penalised. Vettel had better track position so I think Hamilton would've been the most appropriate to take the safer route.

Also Brundle mentioned that Schumacher was having trouble getting the power down early, I wonder if he's having a bit of trouble adapting to a lack of traction control.
