Dear God F1 drivers are droll. For god sake have some enthusiasm for the race, and tell us in an interview.
I really don't know why they can't extend the 107% rule to all qualifying sessions, so everyone from 17th upwards has to qualify within 107% of the fastest qualifier in Q1, everyone from 11-17th has to qualify within 105% of the fastest guy in Q2, and everyone in Q3 has to get within 103% of the fastest guy in Q3, don't do a time, start at the back of the grid, miss the cut off, if it was a genuine attempt and got blocked/whatever then start at the back of that section (10/17/last), if because the car didn't try, back of the grid.
Ok folks... someone had to ask...
Vimto?
Why bother with this complexity when they could simply bin the stupid "start on same tyres" rule and let everyone choose whichever starting tyre they like?
Or even introduce a qualifying tyre?
On another note....
7. Daniel Ricciardo Toro Rosso-Ferrari
Really? Impressive!
Yep. Pity he will have to move over for vimto.

Be interesting to see if they make it obvious.
