Chinese Grand Prix 2014, Shanghai - Race 4/19

That has cemented Kvyat at Toro Rosso for a little while. Ooooh. Red Bull behind. *moves over*

Yes, not the best fight for track position there :p

For those wondering about Rosberg, don't forget that so far this season Red Bull and Ferrari have pushed hard earlier in races and saved fuel later in races. Merc are doing the opposite in pretty much every race, saving fuel then laughing at the rest of the grid in the final stint when they go full fuel usage.

Riccy on a two stop?

lol @ Hamilton's radio message "It's amazing the tyres feel really good and so do the rears."

But those who already stopped are 2 secs a lap faster now.

PIT HIM NOW!

Come on hammy stay out to lap 19, as long as you don't start loosing 3 seconds a lap. As long as you pit when you still maintain track position, then drag it out.

Oops, maybe just come in.

Hamilton needs to pit now. 2nd, 3rd and 4th are now going faster than him.

Rosberg gained 2 seconds.

Doesn't matter, if his tires are fine then he can two stop, or just use soft's late in the race for 10 laps at semi quali speed instead of 15-20 laps at slowish speeds.

CAn't stand how many teams throw away their strategy to react to other peoples CURRENT speed. If he pits in 5 laps he will be WAY faster than the others.

Rosberg has 71.9kg fuel remaining

Using about 1.56kg per lap at that rate. Keeping it constant, will use 87.36kg in the race. Wind it up a little.

You don't know how much he's got. All we now is he's running under. But is that 2.74 kilos left or 12.74 kilos. I suspect Mercedes are running around 95kilos going by the other races.
