Hi all, looking to treat the missus with some quality chocolate, I want to spend around £20. The only company that I know about are - Hotelchocolate. Can anyone recommend any alternatives?

Get a box of Milk Tray and a tub of sea salt. Throw the salt on the chocolate. There you go, fancy chocolate.

With the remaining £13 you can treat yourself for a job well done.

Jesus Christ no. Thorntons is crap and overpriced. I only rate it marginally higher than Cadburys.

@OP check out The Chocolate Trading Co. Get a selection of £5-6 milk chocolate bars, maybe a medium/dark too if she likes that

Or this - you pay a bit more for the name than things like Amedi, Michel Cluizel, Toscano, bit it's still very very good. If you're in London you might want to check out the choc section in Selfridges for outstanding truffle/box chocolate type stuff

Is it good?

Yes. I've ordered a few things from there and whilst I'm not a big chocolate fan, I really enjoyed the stuff I got. The people I bought gifts for were also pretty impressed.
