most youngsters don't like xmas pud though, it's out-moded (maybe resurgence since brexit ?) ... don't know do they have bought in, sticky-toffee pudding

First they came for our xmas pud then they came for our... something or other. Its definitely too early for thinking about xmas though looks like hitting 23c for most of the week ahead we'll have to swap the pud for a shrimp on the barbie thats allowed in the competition right?

Yeah, it's not about the image, it's about tradition. Much like the essence of Christmas is forgotten by most, changing the logo to a glossy new one would be in similar vain, especially to the long term posters; the declaration of pud and Xmas smilies etc. It's a bit like wearing a naff Christmas cracker crown.
