Christmas Steam Sale!

Vanquish worth it for £7.50?

Reviews are very positive
I picked it up for that price last week and have been playing it over the past few days. I didn't know the game from before so there is no nostalgia influencing my opinion. For me, it's a fairly brainless 3rd person, on the rails shooter with a fun sliding and time slow down mechanic and lots of cinematics. It is good fun and £7.50 feels about right for me. So far I'd rate it as a 6 or 7 out of 10 game.

Oh, been so long since I played wasn't sure what it introduced.

Didn't want anything big so my buys were:

Driver Parallel Lines
Far Cry 2 Fortune's Edition
Portal 2

Should keep me busy for a while.

Just a few for now that I have wanted for while and probably it for this one.. probably.

I got a shed load in the last sale only a few weeks ago.

Anyways

Thanks I'll pick it up

Cities Skylines (plus Night and transport), Motorsport Manager Endurance and ETS2 cargo DLC so far.

Edit: Have added Elite - will try this out before deciding on the DLC.

Getting a Logitech G920 for Christmas, am I missing any good racing titles?

Currently own Dirt 3, Dirt Rally, GRID 2, Project CARS and Assetto Corsa.

Forgot about ETS2, I think I've got that already as a stand alone (non steam) version and have spent many hours on it over the years. The thread on here seems to have a huge following. Is it that much better with a wheel?

Ahh, I was tempted by the recent Humble F1 compilation. I'll check it out!

Btw, saw your earlier comment about Prison Architect. It's definitely worth a fiver!

Only picked up AOE3 complete and Bad Company 2 + DLC thus far. Already had BC2 on Origin but Steam > Origin.

Apparently still a few hundred playing BC2 so going to give it a blast!

Spelunky for £1?? Oh now thats a must buy.

And Project Zomboid for less than a fiver? Thats another into my cart.
With a library approaching 500 games I felt like it would be almost offensive to ignore what's probably the most highly rated 2D platformer of recent years isn't it? Purchased.
