Christmas Steam Sale!

Selling PUBG stuff? What is this black magic?
Loot boxes and their contents.

You can sell your loot boxes for cash and you can sell your items as well.

Most of the junk like red t-shirt will sell for £0.05 but if you have a rare item it can go for £20. People will pay close to £1 for a loot box if it is one of the higher tier boxes.

I don't know how long this will last as "cashing out" is the part that is considered gambling.

Mrs got me Hellblade: Senuas Sacrifice and Bridge Constructor Portal, and got herself Portal 1, Tomb Raider, Life is Fruedal and Ark.
Father in law gave us a £50 steam voucher for Christmas yesterday so worked out well

Tempted on Fallout 4 for a tenner too...

Was playing Fallout New Vegas last night which was awesome - but heard negative things about this one :(

I'd recommend getting it with the DLC's if you do get it, base game is so so..

I also ran it on ultra settings with a GTX 960 so a 970 will have no problems.

GTA5 - £16, seems a good price based on how much a Steam key for this game normally goes for.

Yep I dont remember that being any cheaper. GTA5 does have a lot of semi DLC type content, I dont care that much but in theory you might feel like you have to buy cards to get cash in game if you were competitive at all.

I cant find the thread where they post free offers but there are so many old games worth playing as well, UBI is promoting free ones on their platform till 27th Watchdogs etc

The CSGO discount gets smaller every year!

Nothing much tickling my fancy, although I do have 20 quid in my Steam wallet. I'll find something I'm sure.

It would be free by now pretty much if the Devs werent struggling to lock down trolls in the games, having it a disposable kind of price doesnt help that.

I have 50 in wallet and probably wont find anything :o

Contagion I always thought deserved to be more played, effective zombie type pvp survival

Like a moth to a flame, I keep buying games that I'll never play!

My current wish list and debating whether to purchase:

GTA 5 (played 1 & 2 back in the day)
Doom remake (2016)
The latest Elite (for the price) although Frontier Elite (1993) still haunts me to this day! Whenever I encountered a pirate dogfight - I always lost.
A couple of the Arma 3 DLC's. I sadistically prefer the clunky controls and old school world of Arma 2.

It's... a bit of a strange beast. Definitely feels a bit more of a shooter with RPG + sandboxy elements than an RPG with FPS elements buuuuut... eh, it's still ultimately fairly enjoyable. For a tenner, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Elite... is fine for £5. It has wonderful moments but... can be a little dull as well. I got very hyped about it and spent money/effort getting an awesome controller setup (thrustmaster hotas with a bunch of additional controls added on, both modding onto the stick/throttle and as... eh a bunch of useful switches/etc you'd expect to see in a cockpit + built head-tracking for it) ultimately played a bit, got bored. Repeat x3. It's fine but doesn't really suck one in that much.

Doom can be had for under a tenner most of the time.

Arma 3 I can't really comment on :)
