Christmas Steam Sale!

I can't say I've noticed any performance issues? I'm currently just learning the game with the sandbox mode, and because you get unlimited money, I've gone nuts in terms of whats in my park and how big it is with decorations/scenery everywhere. I haven't noticed any slow down so far but then I've not created any custom coasters that are silly complex or anything like that

its the amount of people in your park that causes it soon as you start hitting 8K people it starts chuggy a little.

on my old PC 5930K with 1080TI 1440p was lucky to get 45FPS after 9K people

rollercoaster tycoon was fine because it was all in assembly code. which is why it still works today without almost any mods

Is Divinity: Original sin II worth a go?

It's on at £26.99, I had hoped it would have been cheaper. Never played a D&D style RPG, just thought I'd give it a go.

It got called one of the best RPGS ever made at some point this year. I really want to try it but my limited experiance with the first game is holding me back as its such a slow start. The 2nd can be played without the original apparently but I'd sooner play both if I could

Cheers.
In two minds. Might just give it another 12 months and pick it up cheap. A good game is a good game regardless of how old it is. Plus not quite if it's my thing or not.

Well due to my interest in Early Access & Mutliplayer a game called Genital Jousting has just popped up in my queue........
I didn't purchase but bought One Finger Death Punch Instead.

Also 5930k at 4.2 but with Titan XP

I’ve built 6 large parks with around 10k guests and get around 20 FPS

Technically a great game but becomes unplayable just as you start getting somewhere

Got all of these (Assassins Creed IV Black Flag, World in Conflict and Watchdogs). Felt it was rude to look a gift horse in the mouth not having any of them.

To this added Assassins Creed Origins, Project Cars 2 and Shadow of War...all for free courtesy of Samsung and Asus/AMD respectively.

So far a lucrative Christmas so almost don't feel the need to look at anything on Steam...but probably will :)

Only performance issues i've noticed is editing a custom coaster once its built. So if i raise some track, i get a lag/fps drops but other than that, the game runs sweet as a nut!

Just got finished with Tomb Raider (2013) absolutely quality and beautiful game for the £3.74 it cost, first game in a long time that I've not skipped the cut scenes because the story was actually decent enjoyed it so much decided to take a risk on Rise of the Tomb Raider

Rise of the tomb raider is easily as good. Especially if you can max it out as it is a stunning game.

I wouldn't recommend the Zombie Army Trilogy. It's completely broken as the devs thought it would be a great idea to make the melee attack a one hit kill mechanism. You can finish the game without firing a shot at any normal enemies on the hardest difficulty.

I would recommend getting the originals where it is still a massive challenge.
