OT but what? My Aunt has a Caterham as a weekend car - bet most guys would kill for one of those.

It's about right for a car of that sort of size and weight. Similar to the BMW 330Ci and 3.2 TT.

Yeah, 6.5s and limited to 155 top end (probably 156 without

), i would say that is fast for a 3.2 auto in a reasonably comfy car.

Don't these have rubbish MPG, horrible interior and are really not all that fun to drive? I did like the electric spoiler coming out at speed though, but that's about it!

Ahh, didn't realise it was an auto as well! I suppose if it's reet lardy, then that's not too shabby. Bet it'd sound lovely even if they're not fantastic cars!

I had heard this also, which is a shame as my expectation from the V6 was completely shattered.

The problem is it's not an exceptional car Jez, you of all people should know how this was going to go before you hit the post button. That said it's not a horrifically bad car. It is a little bit different and not that common, and if she's the kind of person who has to have (insert item here) just because it looks a certain way and is cheap then who are we to object. It could have been a crap expensive car.

Just pray to whatever automotive gods you believe in that it never needs to go near a main dealer as Merc/DC dealerships are by far the worst excuse for a main brand dealership i've ever had the misfortune to use.
