Sorry my post wasn't clear. It wasn't OcUK (not computer related).. and it was Citylink I eventually go through to on the phone, not the company I bought from.
 
I ordered my motherboard and GFX card this morning (im desperate for them) placed for Next day delivery (Thursday) and its still saying "still in warehouse Queue"
i do hope i get it tommorow (as stated) otherwise i hope they refund me some cost
 
This has gone beyond a joke now. I received one of the two parcels today (remember they were all meant to be delivered last Friday together!!!) and no sign of the other one. Can't get through to local branch as per usual and head office has closed until 8am tomorrow!!!!

******* useless.

so, you are 1 missing? do you have a consignment number for it? or has the supplier not sent it yet?
 
Meant to say 1 of 2, sorry. Yeah they are all the same consignment number and were all sent for delivery last Friday.. just a big **** up by citylink at Bristol depot.

Atleast you can actually get next day service, had parts that should be here today, but due to something being out the stock, it was delayed one day. Now being next day service, it should be Friday, but being so far north, have to fork out an extra tenner for Saturday delivery :\
 
that suxs u should get that back

my order was sent today, so i dont get it untill tommorow! also i noticed the GFX card i ordered is on special offer now! :mad:

Yep it does suck, also was told it would be sent off today, site still says in queue and no confirmation email either. Looks like its next wedensday/thursday due to New year city link closures
 
You need to be a hawk and keep an eye out for the fan, i sit where i can see the van pull up and open the door before the knock when i am expecting something important.

I pretty much do the same thing, i've missed Citylink and other couriers in the past because half the time they just never knock loud enougth, theres nothing more annoying when you've been waiting for the courier all day to end up later finding a card left on your door mat.
 
Have you tried calling your local depot? I called mine yesterday and today as I'm still waiting for the remaining parcel (only a week late!).. they are now struggling to find it in the depot.. I asked them to physically check they had it so I could pick it up myself.

They said due to being completely overwhelmed, they have 'turned the warehouse upside down today, to prioritise deliveries, and will be doing a drop tomorrow (Sat)'.

hey turned it upside down becuase they had so much work, just to find your parcel, and they are doing extra deliveryies saturday! lol
 
Well they called this morning to confirm it's "gone missing" i.e. probably nicked by a driver :rolleyes:

Great fun to sort this one out now...... :(
 
I'm like the only person thats never had any problems down this way in the south west. They've always turned up on time. Same as Royal Maid Special Delivery.

But amtrak well.... They never delivered and apparently left a card and people were in all day and clear view of the road outside.

ive never had a problem with City Link or Special Delivery
 
The sods have "misrouted" two out of the three boxes that were shipped to me :( Apparently they'll try to get them to me tomorrow.

Got the Case but not the rest of the stuff. Grr.

It could be worse, you could be sitting at your desk posting on a forum while looking at 2 grands worth of kit you can't do anything with because your case "might be on one of the drivers vans or in the depot somewhere" then be given an estimate delivery of "hopefully today, probably saturday if not monday"...

What really cracks me up is when you phone them up you get put on hold and have to spend 15 minutes listening to how they're the "number 1 choice for international solutions" and "same day delivery specialists" yet i'm a 35 minute drive away and they cant get to me for "maybe" 5 days? would have been cheaper and quicker to pick the friggin thing up myself.
