I fancy picking the 'complete edition' of this up if I can find a good price -
anyone recommend somewhere? cheapest I can find it so far is the 'bay and I'm not sure if I trust that :confused:

I only have Gods and Kings and id say it was worth it. Adds some interesting mechanics to the game.

Started reading this thread yesterday, thought i'd give civ5 a spin and brought the whole set for a bargain price.
3 hours last night on my first sitting! Where does the time go?

Enjoying playing it at a low difficulty level right now, its just the right kind of game for me to play.

Started playing this again recently, enjoying it much more than the first time I had a go. Where is the cheapest place to pick up the expansions? I want to play but the current steam price is too much I think

cdkeys.com are selling them for around £6.

Yeah I did some googleing last night and picked them both up for £9.20 or so total. Installed them last night and started a game as Britain, made all the wrong choices at the beginning with regards to expansion and spent pretty much all my production on defending from barbarians and lost all growth, cash and science... Not my finest attempt.

Looks like a lot to learn with the new features, I'll have another go soon

Yeah I done something like that the other day, messed up the start and ended up in a war with pretty much every civilization and couldn't defend my cities.

how much does the complete pack with all the addons, add to the game? I've only got base game atm. worth it? what sort of things does it add?

Definitely worth it.

Extra Civs, buildings, units, maps, tech, religion, social policies

Agreed. I paid full whack for the game and all the expansions and absolutely believe I got great value for money. At the price they are charging for the complete edition (I assume its giving you an option to upgrade to the complete edition) it is definitely worth it.
