Civilization V

Having an odd problem with missing icons. I don't have the icon in the top right which has a list of a lot of options. I can't see anything in the options menu about it.

Any idea how to get it back?

I picked this game up on Steam last weekend and its ruining my life. I made the mistake of playing a game last night, on a work night, and before I knew what was happening it was 4 am. Now I'm sitting at my desk at work barely able to function. Every time I close my eyes little people pop up in my mind and denounce me. Dammit :(

Just one more turn.... :D

I think everyone who has ever played Civ has had a situation like this :D

I picked this up last year on sale then. Played it once and couldn't get into it. Picked up the DLCs on offer just because they were so cheap and then left it until 2 weeks ago. Had a go last week and have been playing a couple of hours a day...

Welcome to the one more turn club :D

Just got into this again on Saturday, must have spent 8 hours atleast since then playing it. Serious case of One More Turn. Playing as the Romans (almost always play them) and kicking butt with a beautiful start on a couple of close rivers with plenty of flood plains. Still coming to grips with the latest DLC additions, very little idea how tourism and spying works but managed to steal a couple of techs so far.

My science is quite high at the moment so I've been able to shoot right up the bottom of the tree to dynamite and fertilizers and I plan on just stealing the older techs from other nations. Right now nothing any other civ has can match my musketeers and cannons, it's only around 400ad I believe.

I have a question

I have converted a city (one of my own) to my own religion via a missionary
But it does not seem to be exerting any pressure on neighboring cities at all.
Yes cities are definitely in range
