Already getting the "just one more turn" syndrome, didn't go to bed until like 5am, oops!

i love how quicksave is not quick

Its to discourage quickloading when something doesn't go your way obviously

should be changed to save & EPIC save

How is it not quick? You can tell it to save on every turn.

Puppet at first as it will bring down your happiness a lot if you annex. Or raze if you don't want it.

Once you've got enough spare happiness then you can annex the city any time and build a courthouse in the city first once annexed.

the puppet is new to civ v, i personally cant see the point in burning a city down unless its endgame genocide. i always try and annex stuff.

my 4870 is also going insane on teh fan, i can play a tune on it by zooming in and out of the map.

what is the big deal with dx 11 over 10?

i don't like how busy the map is getting, buildings and camps on nearly every tile

I deffinately got the syndrome 580 turns in one sitting!! Im playing on the epic sized maps my only gripe so far is the computer opponents Only ghandi has buit a sizable empire all the other opponents have only one or two cities.

Was reading a pretty hopeful thread on civfanatics. Apparently people who played really early preview versions of the game have said the AI in release is awful compared, that the AI used it's units and terrain to the max and gave you an incredibly hard time where as now, they, as well as the many people just playing since release are conquering entire civs with a handful of units.

So hopefully an early patch will revert the AI to what apparently was it's former glory!

The victory screen is very disappointing, I was expecting to get a ton of data, graphs etc.

I've played the demo a few times now and I still can't help but think its dumbed down a bit.

Not as much economic control, no religion and a plethora of other things.

I'm still not sure, I like how combat is working I think but other than that I'm not completely blown away.

Just finished my second session on Huge earth, Emperor difficulty. Still loving it, only on turn 200 but still suffering from one more turn syndrome which I am keeping under control by setting my phone alarm to go off

i think this game has a bit of a memory management issue

i had it running from 8am till 4pm yes i had a break! however after this its was stupidly slow. it looked like it was on 10fps when sweeping this was on a standard map with me pretty much taking over the world
However this shouldn't happen as im running 280GTX SLI & 6GB of ram!

also when i pressed menu to do a quick save i had a Military are you popup behind the menu After the save when pressing "do it anyway" it took over 50 seconds to actually do something.

I have also found that after a long run the Turn's take ages to work out. possible memory issue or just so much going on?

anyway im hoping for a patch but won't stop me playing till then!

anyone going to recommended this game in worth purchasing thread?
