CL Final *Spoilers*

To be fair, i've heard of very little stick towards Rafa, all the die hard fans have said he is right for the job, and said he will get it right. I've not heard any one against him, we were claling for him before he signed, and now he has signed and delievered no one wants him to leave, premiereship next, we will break into the top 3 next season - after that who knows !

Best night EVER

Around the mid season point he was getting some stick for the side being so inconsistant, at the time thought it was unfair due to the injury problems

Don't be so confident on breaking into the top 3, can be done but it requires unreal consistency.............. or a lot of money ;)

Well done Liverpool. What a fantastic result. At half time you were dead and buried but that goal of Gerrards was a cracker. It seemed to wake you up whilst shattering Milan. And what about those reactionary saves from Dudek in the last minute of extra time? A really good night for the Scousers.......... and a cup, to keep!

Looking forward to beating the European Champions next season. ;)

Wear your Milan stuff with pride m8,1st half, that was as good as anyone i've ever seen against us,Maldidni was sublime.Just wasn't to be

Exactly, Milan did you proud. My brother went over to Italy when i was 7 and brought me back an Inter Tracksuit and i was over the mood so always had a softspot, but AC... wow you were a great opponent brilliant in first half, can't say any thing else... speechless

20 Million rumoured, which means Aimar, AJ perhaps. Like i said, i can't rememebr any one ever doubting Rafa, and rightfully so, although he could turn into another Houllier, next season will be the real season.

It's starting to set in, and we could get 3rd next season, Everton won't stay above us thats for sure, think their season would have been a once off, but what a season they have had and they deserve a champions league place... but wow tonight is the night for the red half

Just got home, but what a game. I do not remember anything like it. I'm sure there will have been European Finals like that before, but not in the past 20 years.

Well done Liverpool, and comisserations to AC Milan.

Has to be said that with (on paper) the better side, 3-0 up at half time... to lose the match is unforgivable.

As a neutral that was one of the best games i have seen in a long while. Good on the scouser's, great comeback and fully deserved victory.

So much for the boring 0-0 draw and the liverpool drubbing as predicted by many. Imo a great night for english football and a credit to the premier league.

Silvio Berlusconi you were wrong nuff said :p

Fantastic night of football that, really enjoyed it. Well done Liverpool on an incredible comeback for the win.

Only problem I have now is a sore throat from an inability to stop shouting at the TV. :D

I think most of us had that problem :D

Overall, one of the best nights of english football.

I almost turned it off at half-time

Played Liverpool. TBH, after the rather negative displays in the previous rounds I was pretty much neutral for this game. But I have to say they deserved it - it was a great comeback and one of the most dramatic games I've seen in the 20-odd years I've been watching footy.

I guess the old cliche about having your name on the trophy really does hold water sometimes :)

right my thoughts

shocking first half , a terrible performance , no idea , no commitment ( oh and pack your bags Kewell )

2nd half , fabulous first few mins , should have kept the pressure on at 3-3 but we stepped back and struggled towards the end

Penalties - oh I don't know , I can hardly see the keyboard due to a combination of beer / tears

a couple of last thoughts - thanks to you all for cheering us on especially the Man Utd fans who have been incredibly supportive ( seriously )

The main reason I wasn't there tonight ( I didn't qualify for a ticket through proper channels but that has never stopped me ) is that I have a 15 grand bill for the wedding later this year , my other half suggested that this made it worth missing out on going

What an epic night! Im shattered!

Oh , just one last thing , while most Man U fans have been great one sent me a txt at 1/2 time

" I won't make the same mistake that you made abusing me at half time in 99 ;) "

I think I will leave the reply unsaid :p
