I have to say I do enjoy our nightly member drive from Global chat

Last night was pretty busy:
Recruit a few guys who seem quite active
Recruit 2x12 yr olds in the space of 2 minutes, unknowingly to us
Recruit a girl (yes a girl) who gets a stalker and gets him banned all within 10 minutes
1 of said 12 yr olds doesn't stop talking for 30 minutes while he tells us he is from New York on 7 occasions. References many british sterotypes (to which we all live up to). Gets offended when we make a joke about him stumming his guitar. Calls Rotters 'broke' and gets kicked.
New guy (lph?) turns out to be old OCUK user and didn't click with name.
Was fun

The clan's rank is slowly getting better. We should have a weekend where everyone tries to get their trophy count up as high as they can to see how high we can get.
At the moment it fluctuates so much as we're all farming constantly.

I've heard it happen to others but not sure what can be done.
Regarding the troop donation thing, I think it shouldn't be based on 1 week but over a number of weeks (slighly fairer)
As Rave says he can't always get on. I think every member of the clan donates when they are on so it's more of an actvity issue than willingness to donate issue.
The clan has about 40 members just now. I think the problem should be left until we hit 48-50 members and decide what direction the clan should go. We clearly want it to be very active (like it is now) and non-donators will go against our ethos.
Not really an answer just a point of view.

Clearly the clan is growing. I've personally hit a point where upgrades are a considerable amount of money which makes it a task to raid enough to do the upgrades. Slow going!
I think the minimum lvl for randoms should be updated to min lvl 50. This just stops really poor donations. I think that any OCUK forum member should still be allowed in at any lvl. As said by Rave, we aren't full so they should be allowed in.
This does raise the issue of dead wood. We can't hold on to too many players that are just not active at all. More communication is needed on the forum or somewhere.
Other than that, I also think the troop donated column is a bit misleading. It's very easy to request more troops than you donate. But if you stop requesting, how can anyone donate?
I'm personally trying to keep my figures respectable but I won't judge those that have high donations and even higher troops recieved.

I encourage all OCUK members to join the clan. We are not full and the more the merrier!
With this list we can keep a better eye on who is not active and who is a forum member, therefore hopefully keeping you in the clan.
Previously it was not always known and we had a lot of randoms, who were kicked for inactivity.

Why not a ocuknoobs clan for the lower levels?
Idea was briefly brought up before. It would need someone to control it. But could deffo work.
If you have a few ppl who can float between both clans they can keep them both alive.
Got bored and started a feeder clan. I'll see how it goes and be back to the main clan in a bit if it goes badly. I'll promote up any decent players.
