Is it 100% safe to use alcohol on mobo? I used it on a Strafe keyboard and the cotton bud came away with some red paint. :eek:

Which alcohol? Isopropyl alcohol is generally ok. It will break down some paints but usually not permanent ones I'd expect to see on finished products.

Seen plenty of videos on Youtube of people cleaning motherboards with 99.9% alcohol, so I would have thought so. I've even see distilled vinegar being used to remedy damaged motherboards from battery leaks, then cleaned away with alcohol.

Strip it and put it back together again.

Personally I just use and vacuum (carefully) with an old toothbrush. That is all you need. No need to spend money on fancy sheet.
