Are you supposed to do this with a stock CPU or can it be done with your curve optimiser settings? Ie PBO on but everything else standard

I know I can run my CPU at 4.6+ manual overclock. It's just that thermals start to become an issue.

It gradually drops the core voltage at a given speed, until it becomes unstable.

But, this is actually trash, I can't get anything like those speeds out of it stable. Running XMR mining makes it black screen and hard reset inside 5 mins.

I've since dropped back to PBO, which gets me 4.5ghz all cores and is actually stable.

Apparently I did it wrong the first time.

For some reason when I restarted CTR it had my diagnostic result. Even though I never ran it, but figured that's just what the app did.

So actually let it run this time and got a little better results.

Wonder if there are any regional differences in the chips- mine was "Diffused in USA" and read as Golden Sample. Any other GS-owners remember where their chip came from?

TBH all this is nice info but it’s pretty useless unless you have the dark hero, as most people will be using the PBO other than all core OC
