Coca Cola

I know its terrible for health but I do go through a few 2lts bottles when I'm in the office for 24 hours or more. (Well Pepsi which is just as bad).

Never really understood why people like Coca-cola in the first place. It's minging.

This.

Don't get me wrong, when i was young, went through coca cola like it was nothing.

Now, i can't remember the last time i bought a can of coke.

My mum refused to buy more than one 2ltr bottle of it a week when me and my sister were younger, and it used to disappear in a day or 2 these days I don't even drink squash just straight tap water unless I'm having a beer or a whisky and coke.

Paxman's a bit of an idiot, more so in recent months, people have been telling us how much sugar there is in coke for decades, don't want the Sugar? Diet and Zero are available.

News almost as old as time!

I happily drink most spirits without mixer but that's off topic :D

When I was younger I would happily drink a bottle a day. No adverse effects, still got all my teeth, not overweight and no diabetes. I think to much is being taken away from parenting these days.

Let the kids have what they want but teach moderation.

Have to say I am partial to canned or glass bottle Coke, but I don't live on the stuff, so it's a non-issue.

Same here but i actually perfer pepsi over coca cola. I used to drink 2-3 cans a day but for the past yr or so ive cut down to maybe one can every few days.

Ah but then there are some questions regarding the sweetners used in both full sugar, but more specifically in 'diet' products.

Some very interesting data on artificial sweetners, and their effects on the body. I certainly noticed an improvement in my health when I stopped imbibing such rubbish.

I would just avoid all soft drinks completely. Drink beer!! (or water, or tea and coffee) :p

There is nothing quite like a cold, glass bottle of Coke... in fact I prefer Pepsi tbh.

The level of sugar is horrific though, and there would be no way I gave it to kids unless as a special and infrequent treat.

At home I drink chilled water 99% of the time. I do sometimes miss UK concentrated fruit squash like Robinsons in Orange & Pineapple and Blackurrant flavours, but I've learned to live without it.
