Does the lack of a proper widescreen not annoy people? Its a fishbowl effect which you can see by panning your squad to the sides of your screen, pretty shoddy.

OMG

This Falaise Road level (Chap 5) is driving me insane, where you have to take out the tanks.

More often then not i can take the first 2 - but dont even close to the 3rd

just got to the 3rd blinking tank and get killed as i press x to plant explosive

I love the way everyone complains that they keep getting stuck on missions and can't complete it in half a day and will then probably complain that it is too short when they do complete it.

Why is everyone in such a hurry to complete every game :confused:

i dont mind completeing a game quick - im moaning im stuck because on veteran when you got germans coming from every direction, constantly respawning having barely any cover and having to blow up 3 tanks (baring in mind the checkpoint starts with you needed to destroy all 3 each time) and you try for 2 hours.... it gets annoying

Its over... next mission

- this was the only part so far thats been AMAZINGLY hard - the hill rush was hard, but not as bad - this was just stupid hard

It's actually not too bad from there onwards, you've got the worst out of the way IMO.

I finished up all the single player achievements this morning so I just need to play some ranked matches but I couldn't even get a ranked match when I tried.

I've read a few issues with ranked matches, check the message boards at gamefaqs.com

and what levels did you do the no combat on? first one?

The brit achievement I got the next chapter after that profile error happened.

I did the no combat one on chapter 3, all the others on chapter 2.

Lol, cause most people aren't paying .... and have a big pile of others sat next to it.

I just got back from town and bagged COD3 from HMV for £37.95 plus points (I now have £5 off my next game). HMV really are the store of choice atm.

Yeah, they are excellent. You could have had a Student discount off that if you were, you know... a student.

I generally play most games this way, especially if there's an online mode as I prefer playing the online modes than the single player game.

Got home from work today to find COD3 in my letterbox

Loving it, although getting to grips with the controller being a new xbox owner is taking a bit of getting used to! It will come though.

Just finished the first level & going to have a quick blast of MP :cool:
