i only ever play hc, cant stand all the p90 carrying bunny hopping noobs on the standard game. who just run around like headless chickens knowing it takes more than 1 shot to kill em.

there you go, ive fixed yours as well. at the end of the day HC is 1 shot 1 kill, standard is 2-3 shots, 1 kill. surely from a skill POV you would have to be better to land 3 hits on the bounce than 1. Agree ?

I like both modes and have no problem playing either one.

The only thing I don't like about hardcore is that the sniper rifle is fairly useless when pretty much any gun kills with 1 shot.

There's more p90's in HC servers, there's more running around like fools spraying for that 'amazing' one shot kill.

hc mode needs a lot more skill to stay alive and is far stratigic and tense. i mean how many ppl do you know who would need 2-3 shot to die, also you dont see soldiers bunny hopping in films. even the snipers need more than 1 shot most of the time

Don't confuse skill with camping to stay alive... also if you're going by films then bullet tooth tony got shot 6 times and he lived. Juggernaught seems to exist in your hollywoodified view on reality!

I dont really mind what i play as long as it's between 16 - 22 players. not really a big fan of Hardcore mode though. But if the server has it then im not too fussy.

i never intended this thread to be about "uber skilled" players. i only play cod4 for fun on public when i can. im not uber skilled, im not getting 100:1 kd ratio or any kind of crap. i just prefer hardcore mode,

I prefer hardcore mode as I once shot someone 6 or 7 times with a sniper and he didn't die. That annoyed me. Even if I hit his shoulder... 7 times.... I doubt he'd be mobile.
