Codemasters F1 2010 X360/PS3 (contains important question about 2011 game!!!)

Running 8th in Australia and bombing down the home straight past the pits and Hamilton turns directly in front of me from the pit lane crossing the white mark in the process, ripping my front wing off and I get a drive through for blocking :o
 
It's beyond me why people still pit when the AI do. We know it's a bug so why do people continue not to use the temporary fix? I haven't had the pit issue since I used the fixes.

I know we shouldn't need to, but we do for now.
 
:/ came 3rd in korea because webber and massa didnt pit, caught them up on the last corner.


and it turns out me team are going to have to let me go at the end of the season, shame as im leading the championship by 20 points with 2 to go.

yeah i take no notice of my engineer telling me to pit, i pit the lap after and haven't had the problem , so its not a real problem to play the game till they fix it

How weird, your rep got too high for them?

I take it you have over offers to better teams?

You must be racing for williams now, they let champions go :D

One achieve hasn't unlocked for me, 3 career wins. I have had 4 now and no cheeve.
 
I no longer hate my wheel, I utterly despise it. 2 full practice sessions completed at Bahrain and a grand total of 5 laps completed without spinning and a best time of 2:17:03.

The only way I can complete a lap with the wheel without spinning is to coast around bends. I literally can't accelerate until I'm dead straight and that's costing me around 15 seconds through sector 2 :(

But there is also the issue that some AI cars don't seem to pit at all, so it doesn't really make any difference when you do. You can pit on lap 2 and the gap will never be made up.

To be fair, you're right that does tend to work for most of the races i've played but Spain in my first season the pits are putting me back at the bottom end of the field each time..

Its like the AI is super human at this track and no matter how fast I drive they catch me up so no matter when I pit i'm screwed... I've qualified in 10th in a lotus on pro level yet after 10 times of trying that race I can't get past a 17th place finish and that's not what the team expect from me.. I need 12th..

I've lead the race from nearly the 2nd lap on many occasions yet I pit even on the second to last lap.. nope.. Drop too many places... I don't get it..

This is what happens to me, or is at this Spain race... Webber pits but his team mate doesn't, I followed Webber and Vettel and watched Webber pit, I waited till lap 12 out of 13 to pit, following Vettel all the way and he never pitted once..

I pit, and dropped 18 places.. He won the race and I lost.. Really what should happen is we pitted at the same time or something, and then it would be a pit stop race...Its not working, its very broken..

Overall, aside from the pits and dodgy AI the graphics etc are superb.. I went back to Grand Prix 4 and that looks horrendous now... Codemasters did do a fine job with the looks etc.... If they fix the broken pitstops then I'll be happy..

I'm very hopeful they will..

put traction control on or mess with the pedal settings to allow better throttle control.


just won the WDC and have been offered a contract straight to mclaren, $10,500,000 as a number 2 driver along side button. cant be having that im affraid, im not being number 2 to him.
 
i have been out qualifying and out racing my silly team mate di grassi all season so far, and I did an R&D test on the last race weekend and easily got under the target time.

Then this race comes and the engineer reports Lucas has new addons for his car and I may get them soon depending on my performance!!! Grrr!

So the race comes and I haven't got a cat in hells chance of keeping up with anyone so decide to wait for my so called team mate and ram him off the road. :D

No way shall I be resigning with Virgin!

But it doesn't as Ive not had 1 fault with any pitstop. What they have to do is be able to reproduce the problem consistently for all reported variants of the problem then they can try a fix and repeat the tests to see if it's been fixed or not or if it's introduced new issues
