COFFEE!!!!!!

Are we allowed to properly **** off tea now coffee has it's own thread? Put it this way, if tea hadn't been discovered first by 300 years, according to google, then there simply would be no tea. Why would you even bother with tea once you had coffee? My tea prejudice may or may not be largely down to a cup a shift manager once made me on a night shift at like 3am, about 39 years ago when I was a junior engineer, that was so strong and black it nearly killed me. Actually, yes it is down to that.

Edit: Actually its probably more like 1400years. Imagine halving to slum it with tea for that long!

I have at least 5 cups of coffee a day.

Is it just me though, or is a lot of instant coffee now become bitter?. Gold blend always use to be nice now its got bitter...i know not all beans are equal :D but just seems whatever they're doing lately is making them bitter.

I really should at this point invest in a proper coffee machine, That you use beans fresh!.

You should, I could never go back to instant coffee after going to filter.

I would say I've never had a need to consume any amount of caffeine that I've noticed. I drink tea and coffee fairly randomly. I would say roughly about 30% coffee, 70% tea. I don't find that it really affects me in terms of feeling more alert or affecting sleep, unless having a strong coffee just before bed, which I never do. I can go over a week without having a coffee or tea and not really miss it that much. Then other times, I will drink a combination of 4 or 5 teas/coffees a day.

We have a Nespresso machine at home which has lasted about 10 years. I find it makes good enough coffee for us. In fact, the majority of people that have one from it usually compliment it. For the cost vs convenience vs taste factor, it's unbeatable imo.
